Steal my systems

Can you change how you feel about your business?

I believe you can. I get it, business can be hard sometimes. It can try your patience, your resolve, and your confidence. But just like the saying goes, the people who make it in business are the ones who keep going.

Here’s the caveat (because there’s always a caveat). It is really, really tough to “keep going” if you’re spending too much time working in your business and not working on your business. So how do you prevent that?

For me, the answer has always been systems and automation.

My systems journey

See, for anyone else who started as a side hustler, this may ring true for you, too. When I started my business the most precious resource I had was my time. A full-time job, my business, friends and family, my health and wellbeing. There were so many things that needed my time and attention, and I had to figure out how to be as efficient as possible with the things that did not need a personal touch so that I could dedicate myself to the things that did.

That meant I spent an inordinate amount of time with post-it notes in the beginning. See, the theory was that if I could map out my entire client journey, I wouldn’t be panicked when I made my first sale, because I’d know exactly what I had to do. Also, I could then automate my client’s experience.

I’ve answered so many questions over the years about how I design websites in one day, how I help clients understand what I need from them when things are due, and keep the project on track. Let’s be honest, every web designer wants to know how to keep a project running on schedule!!

How Systems are created…

My answer: automated emails. Those post-it notes I mentioned above? Each of those turned into a series of forms, emails, videos, and supporting documents that keep clients in the know and make all of our lives easier!

There are so many ways to apply systems in your business. Anything that you repeat more than once should have a system (they may not all be automated, but anything client-facing probably can be!)

I took this philosophy to heart when I started my podcast, Probably Bothered at the end of 2021. Helping guests understand what to expect when being interviewed was top-of-mind. But also, my experience as a podcast host was incredibly important, too. So I created a podcast system that I still use today.

Here’s the deal, these systems have saved my mental health, my client’s frustrations, and have helped me to love my business every step of the way. So, I figured it was time to offer them up for you!

Steal My Systems!

I created Steal My Systems as a cost-effective way to share the systems that I created and love in my business in a way that can be easily replicated in yours! Here’s what’s included:

  • The exact emails I use (that sound like a human wrote them because Hi! I did!)

  • All the forms I use (with exact fields)

  • The videos that I’ve found helpful to include along the way

  • Supporting PDF recommendations

  • Customer Experience suggestions for easy ways to surprise and delight customers

While they won’t be an exact solution for every business owner, they’re easily tailored to you, your life, and your business. (I even suggest ways I’d make changes if I were you!)

Best of all? It’s only $35

So, now I’m wondering, are you ready to steal my systems?

P.S. Have questions, comments, or concerns, I’m here to help, every step of the way!
